About Caroline Arnold
Caroline Arnold has been a technology leader on Wall Street for more than a decade, managing some of the financial world’s largest software development teams and leading some of the industry’s most visible and complex initiatives. She is the author of Small Move, Big Change (Viking/Penguin), a guide to turning broad goals into targeted behavioral changes that lead to permanent improvement in personal and professional life. A dynamic and engaging speaker, Caroline talks to audiences across the country on how organizations and individuals can harness the dynamics change and become consistently successful in goal attainment.
In Small Move, Big Change, Caroline provides a complete set of rules, models, and case studies to help readers master the art of instant and sustainable self-improvement through “microresolutions.” Whether the goal is to lose weight, become more productive, save money, or improve a personal or professional relationship, Caroline teaches audiences how to break the demoralizing cycle of failed resolutions and instead to make resolutions that succeed every time. Drawing from her own experiences as a wife, mother, and innovator, Caroline recounts how she analyzed her own behavior and began to reengineer her resolutions so that they were guaranteed to succeed every time.
Caroline graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in English literature. She is a recipient of the Wall Street & Technology Award for Innovation for building the auction system for the Google IPO. Caroline serves as a Managing Director at the investment bank Goldman Sachs and lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
